Description

Huile sur toile doublée (pour restauration au 19è.s.) sans châssis. ; Au milieu d'une foule de jeunes femmes, Diane représentée debout de face, un croissant ornant sa chevelure ; elle tient un carquois de la main gauche et un arc dans la droite. Paysage avec bois, collines. La composition est formée de diverses petites scènes parmi lesquelles, deux jeunes filles dans l'eau au premier-plan, une qui retient un chien excité à la vue d'un retour de chasse tandis qu'un autre chien lappe l'eau au premier plan. A droite, deux têtes d'homme émergeant des fourrés et observant les scènes.
