Description
Guitare en bois jaune et rouge. La caisse est de forme circulaire dite de lune. Le manche en bois rouge présente quatre clés en bois clair. Il reste trois cordes. La caisse est fendue. Présence d’une inscription au dos sous forme de trois idéogrammes. Le yueqin est un luth chinois à manche court appelé aussi guitare-lune. « Gut-komm » est la prononciation en cantonais du luth à quatre cordes chinois yueqin. Le nom signifie « instrument à cordes [en forme] de lune ». On transcrirait plus proprement yut-komm. Atelier Batifort-Dumond 1989 Nîmes : Ce luth a manche court a une caisse de bois peu profonde et parfaitement circulaire. Le dos est plat. La table, plate elle aussi, est d’un bois identique a celui de la caisse. Le manche, dont la tête se recourbe en forme de croissant, est en bois teinté de rouge. Quatre chevilles de bois, coniques, fixées sur un chevillier creux, tendent les cordes (boyau tressé ?). Les cordes sont fixées a un chevalet de bois collé sur la partie basse de la table. Elles sont guidées, en haut du manche, par un sillet de bois. Dix frettes, huit sur la table et deux sur le manche, les divisent. Elles sont en bois et collées. Un idéogramme de papier, rouge, est collé sous la dernière frette. La caisse est plaquée, sur sa hauteur, de bois rouge.
