Description
Panneau latéral. Ce grand décor se dresse en hauteur, ses trois pans pliés pour la stabilité de l'ensemble. Sur trois châssis fixes à gros clous, avec charnières, trois types de toiles ont été tendues : deux en tissu (toile de drap), l'un sombre bleu l'autre avec motifs par dessus lesquelles une épaisse toile de lin grossière est tendue. Pour les deux pans de même dimensions les toiles sont tendues par dessus les charnières comme si les deux châssis n'en formaiet qu'un, elles sont fixées par des semences de tapissier. Pour le montage de ce décor, d'importantes fixations métalliques se trouvent au revers, des crochets sur les chants. Deux couches picturales huileuse au minimum se puperposent sur une préparation généralisée rouge, sans doute protéïque jusque sur les bords cloués après la pose de la couche picturale. Il se peut que le décor actuel ait été repeint sur un ancien décor, notamment sur le pan le plus étroit. La touche est assurée et régulière brossée largement. Mais plusieurs mains ont peut-être travaillé à ce décor.
