Le fond de la boîte porte des numéros, un plateau vient s'adapter dessus. Sur le couvercle : deux clowns (un blanc et un noir) jonglent avec des chapeaux. Il s'agit vraisemblablement de Footit et Chocolat : Foottit (Tudor Hall, dit George) (Manchester, 1864 Paris, 1921), clown anglais installé en France ; Chocolat (Raphael Padilla, dit) (La Havane, 1868 Bordeaux, 1917), clown français.
