Présentation générale : Le terme nay désigne à la fois une flûte iranienne (nay signifiant roseau) et un ensemble de flûtes organologiquement identiques, répandues dans tout le monde arabe. Les caractéristiques de cette flûte (longueur, nombre de trous de jeu, embouchure arasée) la rattachent aux flûtes qasaba du Maghreb. Description des éléments : Flûte à embouchure terminale de type nay constituée d'un tige de roseau comprenant 6 noeuds, 5 trous de jeu mais aucun trou de pouce. Ici, l'embouchure est arasée sur la paroi externe. Plusieurs fractures au niveau de l'embouchure. Décor : Un riche et minutieux décor représentant très probablement un port méditerranéen (bateaux possédant des voiles latines, bâtiments surmontés de dômes, tours génoises) est finement gravé à la pointe sur toute la longueur du tube.
