Description
Dès les années 1970, Pierrette Bloch utilise des fils de crin dans ses créations. À partir de 1984, ceux-ci sont confectionnés à l’aide de mailles travaillées au crochet. Telle une écriture se développant dans l’espace, des boucles s’enroulent autour d’un fil de Nylon tendu horizontalement entre deux aiguilles. Jouant avec le volume, ces volutes tantôt larges, tantôt serrées projettent leur ombre sur le mur sur lequel elles sont fixées. Intégrant pleinement leur projection à l’œuvre, ces sculptures totalement atypiques témoignent des potentialités infinies de ce langage minimaliste créé par Pierrette Bloch, qui se joue autant des catégories plastiques que des disciplines. Ainsi, entre graphisme, écriture et sculpture, l’œuvre du musée Ziem est-elle très représentative de la démarche de l’artiste qui disait : « Je crois que, toute ma vie, j’ai cherché à dessiner le temps. »
