Description
Comme la précédente il s’agit d’une vue nocturne de l'étang de Berre vu depuis la plage de Ferrières. Très proche de la précédente, l'artiste à photographier la cote du côté sud c'est à dire vers le Jaï et la Mède. Réalisée en même temps, on retrouve le ciel lourd et les eaux sombres, les lumières à l'horizon mais le premier plan est animé par la présence de deux canards tandis qu'un ponton en béton s'avance dans l'eau sur la droite. L'élément géométrique intégré est visible cette fois-ci dans le ciel où, perforant le manteau nuageux, apparait un grand rectangle dans lequel semble s'engouffrer les nuages. Les coloris, d'une grande subtilité, animent la scène avec douceur malgré la menace d'un orage imminent.
