Description
Argile peinte. Fragment d'amphore attique à col, à figures rouges, représentant Dionysos et deux ménades. Au centre, Dionysos, tourné vers la droite, couronné de lierre, tient un canthare par le pied. De la main droite, il tient une branche de lierre qui se ramifie vers le haut de l'image. Le dieu est encadré de deux ménades couronnées de lierre ; celle de gauche lève le bras en tenant des crotales, celle de droite tient par l'anse le canthare de Dionysos. A gauche et à droite du fragment, volutes appartenant au décor ornemental habituel sous les anses des amphores à col.
