Description
Depuis le début du siècle, les frontières entre les différentes disciplines sont devenues plus floues ; il arrive que des peintres aujourd'hui se disent peintres sans jamais toucher un pinceau. Marie Bourget (née en 1952) importe dans le musée des techniques qui sont celles du spectacle : projecteurs de théâtre, construction de décors. Mais au cours de ce transfert, ces instruments souvent mis au service de l'éclat et de l'excès de Dionysos se muent en délicates louanges de la froideur d'Apollon, éloge de ce presque-rien qui tâche de marquer la page blanche sans en altérer la pureté. Marie Bourget représente un courant minimal qui puise ses sources à Mallarmé et Blanchot autant qu'à Sol LeWitt.
