Description

Râpe à tabac reproduisant en bas-relief la Descente de croix par Lebrun, ornée aux extrémités d'une coquille (en bas) et de rinceaux en haut. Le dos est divisé en trois compartiments : en haut, un tout petit, communiquant avec le compartiment principalpar un canal creusé dans l'épaisseur de l'ivoire; au centre, le compartiment principal est doté en son centre d'une arète support de la râpe métallique disparue ; celui-ci communique aussi avec le réservoir aménagé en bas de l'objet par un orifice. Le couvercle de ce compartiment est aussi manquant
