Trouvée en 1943 au fonds du puits d'un temple gallo-romain situé à Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer (Calvados), cette statue en pierre calcaire est un bon exemple de la romanisation d'un culte indigène. La divinité est assise dans un fauteuil, chaussée de sandales et vêtue d'une stola plissée recouverte d'un manteau aux pans desquels sont accrochés deux enfants des deux sexes dont les têtes sont brisées. Coiffée d'un diadème, elle porte deux fibules (agrafes) sur son manteau ainsi qu'un torque de tradition gauloise autour du cou. ; travaux et découvertes archéologiques entrepris pendant l'occupation allemande
