Description

coupe en bois, laque et or avec décor peint ; Coupe à Saké décorée. Deux cigognes sous les bambous. A l'envers, branches de pin or. ; "La laque est une résine végétale aux propriétés exceptionnelles. Très légère, imperméable et isolante, elle convient parfaitement à la vaisselle. Les artistes l'appliquent sur un support, souvent en bois, par succession de couches très minces, chacune poncée et polie minutieusement. Décorés de poudre et de paillettes d'or, les laques sont des objets de luxe très prisés par l'aristocratie japonaise." (F. Rubiella, 2020)
