Description
Cette sculpture, représentant une jeune fille tenant un coquillage dans chaque main, a été présentée au Salon des artistes français à Paris en 1960. Il s’agit d’un modèle en plâtre doré pour la réalisation d’une fontaine. Dès son arrivée en France en 1927, Marguerite Peltzer a pu participer à chaque édition du Salon. Elle reçoit une mention honorable en 1929, devient sociétaire de la Société des artistes français en 1930 et obtient la médaille d'or du Salon en 1968.
