L'oeuvre représente : portrait charge (homme, médecin, debout). Elle est datée de la 2e quart 20e siècle. On sait de cette oeuvre que : L.D. Audouze Un des premiers artistes non issu du cercle des médecins et internes lyonnais dont Le Crocodile publie les dessins dès 1933 et jusqu'en 1938. Ses portraits-charge sont dans le style d'autres caricaturistes de l'époque, notamment Sennep. Le Musée des Hospices Civils conserve un certain nombre de dessins originaux qui n'ont pas tous été publiés. Ce sont de vivantes petites saynètes, souvent assez gaillardes, qui jettent un regard amusé sur le monde médical : la chirurgie, les femmes médecins, les clients.
