Ce n'est pas encore la haute, haute nouveauté, mais on sent qu'on en approche. Les éléments constitutifs des riches et splendides rubans que nous allons admirer bientôt, dessin, coloris et fabrication irréprochable se retrouvent dans de nombreux patrons exposés par cette importante maison, qui a très élégamment étagé en quatre colonnes, une dans chaque vitrine, ses piles de rubans façonnés. Nous avons même été surpris de ne trouver là que du broché, du damassé, à peine quelques dispositions à rayures, bref du façonné rien que du façonné, car nous n'ignorons pas que Messieurs Staron & Cie auraient pu tout aussi bien exposer de très beaux rubans unis de leur fabrication.Mémorial (chronique du ruban par Cintas) (28 août 1889).
