Description

Bonnet comportant une partie coque, en fine batiste très amidonnée, pour envelopper les cheveux, avec à sa base, (côté nuque) un fourreau laissant passer par un trou festonné, de chaque côté, l’extrémité d’un ruban qui lorsqu’on le tire, fronce sur le chignon la base du bonnet, les parties sortantes permettant de nouer l’ensemble sous le menton. La partie supérieure de la coque est fait dans un fin piqué. Sur le devant du bonnet est fixée une large bande également en batiste fine et amidonnée , retombant sur chaque côté formant barbe bordée sur son pourtour d’une large dentelle fine brodée sur réseau. L’assemblage est fait au point glissé, rattaché sur un très minutieux ourlé roulotté. Le décor est de branches fleuries, et comporte une frise fine d’une suite d’ovales et le bord se termine en dents pointues triangulaires. Le montage de cet ensemble est fait de façon très minutieuse à la main. Traces jaunes sur le bonnet et la dentelle. Quelques trous au niveau du rattachement de la dentelle au tissu.
