Description
Base L'angle supérieur gauche de la face postérieure est brisé. Modénature : filet droit, doucine droite, listel plat, rainure d'onglet sur les quatre faces. Corps Les arêtes du corps sont érodées, des traces de ciseau sont bien visibles sur les faces latérales et postérieure. Cimaise Les angles de la cimaise sont brisés. Une cavité rectangulaire (20 x 18 cm), qu'il faut identifier comme une mortaise, est creusée en son centre. DECOR La face latérale gauche est décorée d'un vase à panse très bombée (5,5 cm de relief), muni de deux anses accrochées à la panse et à la lèvre. De l'embouchure s'échappent deux tiges terminées par une feuille de lierre stylisée. La face latérale droite porte un décor composé d'une léonté dont on distingue nettement les plis à droite et la queue à gauche, et d'une massue dont l'extrémité inférieure est brisée.
