Bacchus
Description
Bacchus couronné de pampres; nu, une draperie part de l'épaule gauche et revient sur le bras gauche. La main gauche tient un objet bifide en argent. Le bras droit levé devait tenir un objet plat (?). Chaussé de sandales ou 'embades'. Le dieu a une silhouette fine et élégante; il est appuyé sur la jambe droite, le déhanchement est bien marqué. Le visage est juvénile; les yeux incrustés d'argent, la chevelure en bandeaux s'enroule le long des joues et forme un chignon sur la nuque dont deux mèches torsadées s'échappent. Celle de droite se sépare en deux boucles de part et d'autre de l'épaule. Celle de gauche est partiellement cachée par la chlamyde.
