Vieillard, entre 1878 et 1885, à qui l’on doit le succès de l’entreprise durant cette période et la médaille d’or obtenue à l’exposition universelle de Paris en 1878. Caranza s’inspire ici des dessins très divers qui composent les quinze carnets de la Manga du célèbre peintre japonais Hokusaï (1760-1849).
