Eau-forte rehaussée de gouache et aquarelle sur vergé Fabriano Roma gris (2 e état). ; Représentation d'un espace clos où les murs sont divisés en caissons contenant des boites (stockées par 5) contenant des chemises (?). Trois employés s'activent au stockage, à l'inventaire et l'agencement et au rangement : consultation d'un cahier pour l'un; inscription sur un support posé sur un pupitre pour l'autre, recherche/contrôle du stock (?) avec consultation d'un registre pour le dernier juché sur une échelle. Nous assistons au quotidien de ces 3 employés dans un espace très ordonné, rythmé par les divisions verticales et horizontales des surfaces en bois et en métal. Cette estampe fait partie d'une série de dessins illustrant la transformation du temps répétitif et sans fin.
