Description

Ce poteau-cornier représente un apothicaire debout faisant face au visiteur. Il se tient sous une arcature ogivale ornée de motifs floraux, et est en train de moudre des drogues à l'aide d'un pilon . L'apothicaire est vêtu d'une courte tunique laissant apparaitre ses jambes sur laquelle est superposé un tablier et sa chevelure frisée est recouverte d'une toque dans le style de celles portées par les apothicaires de la fin du Moyen Âge. Le socle du mortier dans lequel le personnage pile ses drogues adopte la forme d'une console ornée de feuilles de vigne. Enfin, le culot supportant l'apothicaire laisse apparaitre un visage grimaçant au milieu de feuillages denses
