En couverture, une illustration pleine page dans laquelle s'intègrent les inscriptions. Cette illustration montre, dans la cour d'une ferme, un orchestre composé d'animaux (un chat, un chien, une vache et des oies) et d'enfants (trois choristes dont deux garçons et un chef d'orchestre qui est une petite fille). En quatrième de couverture, au centre, un chien chante avec un cahier de partition dans les pattes. Deux chats s'enfuient symétriquement à l'écoute du chant.
