Le procédé technique employé est cuivre, bois, ébonite. Ses dimensions sont L. 52,8 cm ; H. 29,5 cm ; l. 24,5 cm ; VOLUM. 0,0382. Cette réalisation date de la 4e quart 19e siècle. Complément d'information : GAIFFE Georges :1857 ;1943. Créateur à Paris d'une société spécialisée dans la construction de matériel électrique (bobines d'induction..) puis radiologique (meuble de d'Arsonval-Gaiffe de HF, équipement des voitures radiologiques pendant la guerre 1914-1918, générateur à contact tournant dès 1909). Sa société deviendra GGP en 1919.# RUHMKORFF : Hanovre, 1803 ; Paris, 1877. Inventa la bobine d'induction qui porte son nom et qui pouvait produire une étincelle allant jusqu'à 30 centimètres de long. Cette bobine, initialement prévue pour des usages médicaux, a été utilisée comme générateur de courant à haute tension par des physiciens (source : Wikipédia).
