Description
Ce cylindre enregistré noir est dans une boîte cylindrique en carton rouge, tapissée de feutre blanc. Le couvercle à bordure rouge est surmonté d'une étiquette sur laquelle est notée 'n°17725 Prière (Gounod) Gilbert' en noir et en rouge 'Ce cylindre doit faire 160 tours à la minute Cylindres Edison Moulés sur or'. Le reste de la boîte est entourée d'une étiquette collée et bordée de couleur dorée avec un médaillon contenant le portrait photographique de Thomas Edison. Sur trois lignes ondulées, est inscrit en lettres rouges et dorées ' Les cylindres enregistrés Edison moulés sur or sont célèbres dans le monde entier'. Dessous il est marqué 'Usine de Paris' en noir. Sur le fond, une étiquette beige est collée avec l'inscription rouge ' Ce cylindre enregistré est vendu par la National Phonograph Company Limited à la condition expresse de n'être par revendu au public à un prix net inférieur au prix prescrit'. Sur le fond, est collée une étiquette carrée, bleue et noire, avec l'inscription suivante 'Sté générale de l'édition phonographique et cinématographique de Paris'. Sur le cylindre, l'inscription est encore visible avec le titre et 'Thomas A. Edison B.S.G.D.G.'
