Description
Ce vase présente une forme dite à col « en tête d’ail » désignant la partie globulaire décorant le col en partie médiane. Il est également constitué d’un petit pied, d’une panse globulaire ainsi que d’un long col fin légèrement évasé. La panse est décorée de réserves alternant gerbes florales et accumulations d’objets auspicieux faisant partie de la catégorie des Cent Antiquités. Ce répertoire de formes emblématiques comprend les Huit Trésors, les Quatre Trésors, les symboles des quatre beaux-arts (musique, échecs, calligraphie, peinture) ainsi que de nombreuses représentations de vases sacrificiels, de fleurs, d’animaux. On trouve ainsi des brûle-parfums utilisés pour les rites aux ancêtres, un vase contenant un morceau de corail et des plumes de paon, la pierre sonore bianqing, etc. Ces motifs sont très fréquents sur la porcelaine de l’époque de Kangxi, y compris sur les pièces destinées à l’export. Le pied est orné d’une frise de pétales de lotus stylisés. Le col est décoré de fleurs en bleu de cobalt alternant avec des motifs de têtes de sceptres ruyi.
