Description
Laque de Chine. Ce fauteuil de bureau possède une assise de forme losangée qui distribue les pieds sur les côtés ainsi qu’à l’avant et à l’arrière, permettant un plus grand confort à l’utilisateur. Le dossier en forme d’arc s’achève de chaque côté par un accotoir plat. Il repose sur trois fins balustres tournés, séparés par deux pilastres en forme de vase chinois. Ces balustres se poursuivent, sous la ceinture ondulée de l’assise, en une tige formant le pied. Elle s’achève par un sabot reposant sur une galette. Le pied avant, plus large que les trois autres, est traité en courbe et contre-courbe et s’achève par trois griffes enserrant une boule. La partie saillante du pied, sous la ceinture, est ornée d’une coquille. Les pieds sont reliés par une entretoise en X tournée. L’ensemble est traité en laque noir à ornementation dorée. Les rinceaux feuillagés, dans lesquels s’inscrivent des fleurs de lotus, dominent. Les deux pilastres sont, quant à eux, ornés d’un paysage lacustre où figurent des arbres, des rochers et des habitations. L’assise, en cuir rouge, reçoit un décor doré de rinceaux. Deux idéogrammes chinois sont inscrits sous l’assise.
