Globe composé de 2 hémisphères, recouverts de couches de papier encollé (la dernière étant constituée de la cartographie gravée en 12 fuseaux et de 2 calottes polaires), collés et montés sur un axe en bois ; le globe est maintenu au méridien (cercle en laiton gradué) par 2 attaches situées aux pôles ; il est posé sur une table à 3 pieds galbés se terminant par des volutes et à décor floral (peint en rouge sur les parties interne, en noir agrémenté de filets d'or de de bouquets de fleurs, le tout doré à la mixtion sur les parties externes) et ceint d'une table d'horizon octogonale soutenue par 4 bras dans laquelle s'insère le méridien ; Gravure avec rehauts de couleur ; piètement polychrome (rouge, noir, or)
