Description
Pistolet à silex fabriqué à Potsdam, Prusse, vers 1838. Canon en fer poli blanc, à pans au tonnerre puis rond. Poinçon illisible sur la pan latéral droit, sur le pan supérieur gauche poinçon ' FW ' surmonté d'une couronne et sur le pan latéral gauche reste de poinçon à identifier. Guidon en laiton. Pas de millésime sur la queue de culasse. Platine à silex ' à la française ', type 1777, corps rond gravé ' Potsdam G.S ' en lettres cursives, surmonté d'une couronne. Chien à renfort de sous-gorge, avec le silex taillé pris dans une feuille de plomb, bassinet en laiton, batterie à retroussis, vis de fixation bleuie, vis de ressort de batterie bleuie. Ces deux vis et celle de fixation du chien marquée ' 6 ' ou ' 9 '. Monture en noyer à fût long, garnitures en laiton, embouchoir à vis marqué ' 9 ' et porte un poinçon de contrôleur en forme de couronne. Idem pour le pontet et la calotte de crosse. Contre platine marquée ' 1838 ' et portant les mêmes poinçons que les autres garnitures. Queue de détente bleuie et portant le poinçon de contrôle ' s ' couronné. Bois marqué du côté de la contre-platine ' ' FW ' surmonté d'une couronne, ' S ' en cursive surmonté d'une couronne. Petits poinçons de contrôle insculpés à l'avant du pontet dont ' S ' couronné
