Anonyme — 20th Century

Description

Vase maillet à base étroite, panse fuselée, haute épaule anguleuse et haut col évasé à l'ouverture, à décor polychrome en émaux cloisonnés . Le pied et la lèvre sont cerclés de cuivre.#Après le travail de la pièce de cuivre par martelage et soudure, et le traçage du motif souhaité, de minces fils de cuivre sont courbés puis collés ou soudés sur la pièce qui est chauffée à 1200°C. Les cloisons constituées sont remplies d'émaux, cuits à 1000°C. Les émaux se rétractant à la cuisson, il est parfois nécessaire de renouveler l'opération. La pièce est ensuite polie à l’aide de pierres, comme l’émeri, ou de carbone.#Très bon état.
