Description
Instrument à corps en érable coupé sur dosse, à courbes légères, sans coins, de silhouette très allongée, aux épaules tombantes. Fond fortement voûté sur l'ensemble, avec une pliure en courbes formant le pan coupé voûté au haut du dos, et portant des filets à motifs géométriques entrecroisés. Même motif au bas de la caisse. Éclisses d'érable. Table d'harmonie d'épicéa aux mailles assez fines, modérément voûtée, bordée d'un filet peu apparent. Ouïes très ouvertes en C à cran médian bien marqué, en forme d'epsilon. La table porte des traces anciennes d'un chevalet. D'importantes restaurations ont été effectuées, vraisemblablement courant 19ème siècle. Le manche du type et la touche en bois clair sont modernes, ainsi que la volute ajourée, copiée d'après la volute ancienne, en mauvais état. L’instrument a été reverni sur un fond de vernis brun.
