Description
Urne et son couvercle en marbre blanc, en forme de calice (panse cylindrique, pied haut et étroit), petites anses fixées sur le haut de la panse. Couvercle bombé avec son bouton de préhension. Enfermée dans le coffre n°1 (fiche 1949.1.15), avec l'urne n°2 (fiche 1949.1.19), elle contenait les cendres d'un défunt, un balsamaire (fiche 1949.1.21) et une lampe en céramique portant l'estampille FORTIS (fiche 1949.1.22). La documentation disponible signale que globalement ces deux urnes contenaient également deux monnaies du 2e siècle de notre ère (Nerva (fiche 1949.1.36), Domitien (fiche 1949.1.35)) et des résidus de feuille d'or (fiche 1949.1.20).
