Description
De forme sphérique, avec un plus grand diamètre vertical, elle est du type à embouchure à) entonnoir, avec deux cannelures externes située sous la lèvre et qui ont un diamètre décroissant de haut en bas. La lèvre est ronde et le col tronconique à petite base supérieure. L'union col-épaule est anguleuse, soulignée par un discret sillon. Le pied, cylindrique, bien marqué, est avec un fond à anneau porteur et gouttière circulaire. L'anse est à profil rond, en ruban dont la face externe est creusée de deux sillons longitudinaux. Selon la classification de Robert Senechal, notre spécimen est du type 3, sous-type 3B, et daté de Claude à la fin du 2nd siècle. L'auteur conclue que les différents critères de datation proposés par différents auteurs sont imprécis et non-absolus. Le lieu de découverte de notre exemplaire et le mobilier d'accompagnement permettent de dater celui-ci du milieu du 2ème siècle, c'est-à-dire de la période 140 à 170 environ, donc sous Antonin et le début de Marc-Aurèle. Mais il n'est pas impossible que ce type ait débuté plus tôt. ; sur la panse
