Description
faïence bleue-vert moulée, percée sur les bords pour fixation, les yeux de l'animal en noir, anépigraphe. ; Cette amulette anépigraphe est un scarabée funéraire façonné avec soin. L'anatomie ronde du scarabée est bien représentée. La tête est bien rendue et les yeux sont en reliefs. Le clypeus, également en relief est légèrement strié et dentelé de façon à rendre l'insecte réaliste. Le prothorax est légèrement bombé par rapport à la tête et séparé des élytres par une ligne profondément incisée. Les élytres sont divisés entre eux par une ligne gravée verticalement. Les pattes du scarabée sont détaillées et le pourtour est percé de 3 trous d'attache sur la base, entre les pattes pour le fixer à la momie. Ce scarabée était à l'origine muni d'une paire d'ailes
