Description
Pendule de cheminée à quatre colonnes. Son mouvement est visible. La pendule est équipée d'un échappement de type petite ancre ordinaire et d'une suspension à couteau (la suspension à couteau est un petit prisme en acier trempé et poli glacé repose sur une gorge en forme de V très ouvert). Le balancier (d'un poids de 340 grammes) est décoré de colonnes de style Empire. La pendule est entièrement en albâtre. Elle est composée de quatre colonnes appartenant à l'ordre toscan. L'entablement est décoré de fleurs (sur les quatre faces de la pendule). Les colonnes reposent sur un socle décoré, sur la face avant on peut voir un visage au centre d'une couronne de fleurs, celle-ci entourée de rayons lumineux. Le cadran possède deux couronnes; celle de l'extérieure est en bronze doré, ornée de motifs floraux. La seconde est en cuivre émaillé blanc et est ornée de chiffres romains noirs. Les aiguilles sont de type Bréguet. La signature 'Bienaymé à Dieppe est visible' à 6h. Les deux arbres à barillet sont visibles à 4h et 6h
