Description
Sous la lèvre, frise d'oves. Sur la panse, en ligne de sol, frise de postes. Sous les anses, palmette flanquée d'un rinceau végétal stylisé, avec feuille, volute et élément floral en trompette. Sur la panse : Face A : Homme debout, drapé et couronné d'un diadème radié près d'un pilier surmonté d'un œuf et d'une couronne pointée. Face B : Satyre en marche vers la droite, coiffé et chaussé, portant des bijoux et tenant un tympanon de sa main droite. Mathieu Scapin Skyphos (vase à boire le vin, à bords hauts) comportant deux anses horizontales épaisses. Le pied est annulaire. La lèvre (bordure du vase) est soulignée par une ligne d'oves tandis que des postes (vaguelettes) ornent la base. De grandes palmettes se développent sous les anses. Sur la face A, un satyre au nez camus et aux oreilles pointues, la queue dressée vers l'arrière, joue du tympanon (grand tambourin). Il porte une couronne et des bracelets.
