Description
Porcelaine dure de type famille rose, à décors de dorures et d'émaux opaques et semi-opaques sur couverte. ; Couvercle de la théière n° 3192.1 avec un bouton de prise La bordure constituée de fleurettes en émaux violets et roses est d’une belle profondeur chromatique et laisse apparaître en réserve dans des médaillons des gerbes d’asters. ; à l’origine, la théière, le pot à lait 3190.1 et la coupe 3190.3 devaient faire partie d’un service complet. La théière reprend la forme des théières occidentales du XVIIIe siècle utilisées pour la consommation de la nouvelle boisson en vogue, le thé. Les bouquets de fleurs des Indes aux couleurs chatoyantes sont des motifs récurrents dans les services en porcelaine commandés par les consommateurs européens et produits en Chine pour l’exportation. Ces décors se font l’écho des productions des manufactures de céramiques françaises.
