Description

Calcaire taillé ; D'après les éléments restants, le décor de cette stèle devait composer un ensemble architectural tout à fait cohérent. En effet, le fragment permet de voir l'extrados d'un arc en très faible saillie (délimitant ce qui devait être la niche) encadré de deux colonnes dont il ne reste que le haut du fût terminé par un tore seul. Celui-ci supporte un chapiteau assez schématique dont le décor de l'abaque pourrait être des godrons ou des cannelures. Ce détail n'est visible que sur le chapiteau droit. Ces chapiteaux soutiennent ce qui semble être un entablement, fait d'une succession de moulures. On trouve de bas en haut : une grande fasce suivie de deux plus petites, une rainure entre deux bandeaux. Aux dessus, on restitue un fronton car il reste l'amorce du rampant droit. L'inscription se situe sur les deux bandeaux. On lit: (M)artiae Sabin(i) fil(iae) / (Be)llic©us et Iu(v)enal(is) fil(ii) 'A Martia fille de Sabinus; Belliccus et Iuvenalis , ses fils.'
