Description
Carafe en verre soufflé à la volée, bleu-nuit, forme Isings 123 ; 'Lèvre évasée, non ourlée mais arrondie et formant saillie en dehors, soulignée par un fil de verre horizontal vers le bas du goulot, court et large. Panse piriforme reposant sur un pied annulaire. Fond un peu bombé vers l'intérieur. Cette carafe est munie d'une anse verticale à trois nervures surmontée d'une boucle qui se continue par des pincements sur la lèvre. Intacte. Soufflée. Teinte: verre bleu. Dimensions: H: 14 cm diam: 8.8 cm Ep: 0.1 à 0.4 cm Datation: type de bouteille surtout répandu aux I° et II° siècle, mais que l'on trouve également au III° siècle. Numéro d'inventaire : 15 Provenance : Autun. Cette très belle carafe fut trouvée en Mai 1878 au polyandre du Bois Saint-Jean, dans une sépulture de famille qui comprenait 3 cercueils, dont celui d'un enfant. Forme : Isings 123' Grosjean, 1980, p. 12, n° 8 ; 'Vase en verre bleu, finement travaillé. Complet, sauf une légère échancrure. Trouvé en Mai 1878, LA PETITE VERRIERE à 1km d'Autun, le long de la route de Luzy à droite, dans une sépulture de famille dans le polyandre du Bois Saint-Jean, renfermant trois cercueils de plomb, dont un d'enfant et une stèle à trois personnages dont il restait deux bases et des carrées. H. : 0.14. Un autre petit vase en terre rougeâtre, orné de barbotine blanche sur couleur bleu, trouvé dans la même sépulture.' Fiche Inventaire Bulliot ; 'Pièce en verre soufflé.
