Description
Calice en argent doré et émail cloisonné. Patène en argent doré ornée d'une plaque en émail cloisonné au revers. ; Calice dont le pied, la tige et la fausse coupe sont en émail cloisonné sur fond bleu turquoise avec des motifs de végétaux et d'animaux. Pied : tranche à fond rouge ponctué de blanc, guirlande de rinceaux floraux entre lesquels s'intercalent deux insectes (cigale) et deux papillons. Ressaut à motif de rosaces contenant des quadrilobes sur fond rouge. Dessus du pied à même fond végétal et animal sur fond rose : dans un médaillon polylobé, sur fond de rinceaux, Christ en croix entre la Vierge, à sa gauche, vêtue de bleu, en attitude d'orante, et saint Jean à sa droite, vêtu de jaune, main gauche sur le visage, en attitude deuillante et tenant l'Evangile. A l'opposé, médaillon circulaire contenant la représentation d'un calice sous une hostie rayonnante inscrite JHS, sur des nuées. Entre les deux, quatre médaillons contenant les symboles du tétramorphe : ange (Matthieu), taureau (Luc), lion (Marc) et aigle (Jean). Tige coupée par trois noeuds : les noeuds inférieur et supérieur, ce dernier étant très peu renflé, portent un décor de fleurs et d'insectes (cigale, papillon et coléoptère) ; le noeud médian, plus proéminent, orné de pampres de vigne. Entre eux, sur la tige, deux frises de poissons. Fausse coupe dont chacun des huit lobes porte un décor floral différent et un insecte dans un lobe sur deux, garnissant la coupe sur sa moitié. Coupe unie et évasée. Sous le pied, plaque circulaire rivetée. ... Patène ayant en son centre, au revers, une plaque d'émail portant sur fond rose orné de rinceaux un agneau ayant un nimbe crucifère et tenant une croix. Autour, sur fond turquoise frise de fleurs, cigale et papillon.
