Description
Calcaire : pierre d'Asnières, taillé ; Le bloc a une forme particulière : est-ce une base ou un culot ? La forme particulière de ce bloc sculpté où le décor se répartit sur une seule face qui s'arrondit irrégulièrement pourrait apparaître comme une base engagée très étalée mais on peut également imaginer un rôle différent, celui de culot. Le développement du décor s'expliquant mieux depuis une vision prise depuis le dessus. Celui-i, en formant sur cette face une série de ressauts en encorbellement, est constitué de rangs de listel lisse, alterné avec des rangs de larges denticules, perles et pirouettes.
