Description
Bronze (frappé sur flan coulé) ; Monnaie de bronze avec au droit, PIXTILOS à gauche de bas en haut ; Buste casqué à gauche, un gros point marque l'oeil, la pointe du nez et le menton, casque à côtes bordé d'une tresse et surmonté d'un petit cimier en éventail prolongé par quatre longues mèches ondulées, les mèches extérieures portent vers le haut trois ou quatre petits noeuds bouclés, au cou torque à tampon, petit bouclier (?) ovale sur l'épaule gauche, au dessus du casque et suivant la légende motif formé d'un cercle pointé encadré par une olive de part et d'autre; grènetis de 10 à 3h. ; trace des jets de coulée à 12 et 6h. Au revers, PIXTILOS de 5 à 9h. ; Lion réaliste courant à gauche, oreille figurée, crinière abondante en trois rangs, membres puissants doublés aux articulations bouletées, queue remontant en volute au dessus du dos, poignard courbe à la poignée figurée par un cercle pointé accosté d'un crochet vers le bas de chaque côté, cercle pointé au dessus de la tête du lion ; grènetis de 5 à 9h. ; trace des jets de coulée à 2 et 8h..
