Dossier carré à traverse supérieure "à chapeau". Supports d'accotoirs en cavet. Pieds fuselés cannelés. Décor : feuilles d'acanthe, godrons, perles, feuilles d'eau, culots et rosaces. La facture stricte de cette paire de fauteuils comme la décoration sculptée à base d'ornements néo-classiques, répandus sur toutes les parties du siège, résument bien le style Louis XVI accompli des années 1785-1786, datation que la très brève période d'activité de Paul-François JEAN permet, en outre, d'établir avec une quasi-certitude.
