Saussine : En 1860, Léon Saussine prend la succesion de Hugues-Marie Duru, libraire et éditeur rue du Cloître St Jacques à Paris. Il réalise des jeux de société, de parcours, des patiences, des jeux de questions-réponses, des jeux d'adresse et de tir, théâtres d'ombres... généralement marqués 'L.S. édit. paris'. L'impression des jeux imaginés par Saussine est réalisée par des imprimeurs-lithographes tels Jannin et Roche. Vers 182-83, L.S. 'fabricant de jeux instructifs et de société en cartonnage' diversifie sa production et s'installe dans le Marais. Après son décés en 1896, sa veuve prend sa succession, puis ses fils Georges et Maurice en 1916, enfin son petit-fils Robert en 1944. Saussine dépose de nombreux brevets, le premier étant pour un jeu magnétique en 1870, un autre en 1905 pour un jeu imitant le football, l'ultime portant sur un jeu de tir. La société familiale est toujours dans l'annuaire du Commerce en 1964, mais radiée du registre du Commerce et des Sociétés en 1980. Elle semble avoir cessé d'exercer en 1968.
