Péan : Peintre, lithographe, illustrateur et affichiste français (Paris, 1875 ; ?). Elève de Jules Chéret et de l'Ecole des Arts décoratifs. Il travaille pour l'imprimerie Chaix entre 1890 et 1905 en créant des affiches de théâtre et de cabaret. Sa production d'affiches est assez considérable, il aborde à peu près tous les secteurs de la publicité: théâtre, grand-magasin, tourisme...etc. Il exerce aussi ses talents en tant que dessinateur de presse et collabore au 'Sourire', à 'L'Illustration', 'La Rampe'...#Imprimerie parisienne fondée par Jules Chéret en 1866 et cédée à la maison Chaix en 1881
