Michel : Paris, 1856 ; Rouen, 1915 ; pastelliste, fils du peintre Charles-Henri MICHEL. Félix Michel naît à Paris en 1856. Après ses études au Lycée Stanislas, à Paris, il entre aux Beaux-arts où, entre autres, il est l'élève d'Alexandre Cabanel. Il garde des liens avec la ville de Péronne où il a de la famille. Très attiré par les paysages qui sont en relation avec l'eau, il y peindra les étangs de la Somme et des vues du canal. Lors d'un séjour dans la région de Thiers, il fait toute une série de fusains sur le métier de coutelier. Il s'installe comme confiseur à Rouen vers la fin du dix-neuvième siècle. Cela ne l'empêche pas de continuer sa production de pastels et de dessins, en majorité des paysages. Il fréquente le Cercle Artistique de Rouen et est l'ami du collectionneur de ferronnerie Henri Le Secq des Tournelles. Félix Michel meurt à Rouen en 1915.
