Odessa, 1879 ; Gard, 1960 ; Artiste né en Ukraine, formé à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris, réalise de nombreux voyages notamment en Russie, engagé dans la Première Guerre Mondiale avec l'armée française, s'installe à Verdun en 1923 où il est conservateur du musée de la Princerie dans les années 1930, et réalise les décors de nombreux monuments de la région, quitte la Lorraine pour le sud de la France en 1940, où il décède en 1960.
