Cousin Guillaume
Pont-Audemer, 1707 ; Pont-Audemer, 1783 ; Guillaume Cousin est né à Pont-Audemer dans une famille de sculpteurs et tourneurs. Son oncle Jean Cousin avait acquis une certaine notoriété lorsqu'il reconnut chez son neveu des aptitudes particulières. Il l'aida à entrer au cours des frères Coustou. Le jeune Guillaume y rencontra le célèbre sculpteur Pigalle qui devint son ami. Choisi par le roi de Suède, Guillaume Cousin exécuta les sculptures de la façade méridionale du Palais à Stockholm. Il mourut à Pont-Audemer, terrassé par la goutte
