Maison Camoin : La fabrique de cartes à jouer est créée en 1760 au 8 rue d'Aubagne à Marseille. C'est Nicolas Conver, graveur éponyme du célèbre Tarot de Marseille, qui en est à l'origine. Jean-Baptiste Camoin épouse une descendante de Nicolas Conver. Il récupère le marché de la carte à jouer à Marseille (il est le seul cartier sur la place en 1878) et modernise la manufacture. Camoin produit plus d'un million de jeux par an, représentant 20% de la production française, dont 80% sont destinés à l'exportation. En 1876, les fils de Jean-Baptiste reprennent la fabrique et déménagent à La Capelette. Camoin ferme en 1971.
