Bardon L Fabricant
1863 ; 1967 ; Lentreprise est créée en 1863 par Jean-Baptiste Baudot, ancien employé de la poterie Bossot également située à Ciry-le-Noble. En 1892, Jean-Baptiste Baudot s'associe à son gendre Ernest Vairet et fonde la société Baudot-Baudot et Vairet. A partir de 1896, Ernest Vairet, prend la direction de l'usine des Touillards qui devient alors l'usine Vairet-Baudot suite au départ de Jean-Baptiste Baudot. La production des établissements est variée : poteries de grès utilitaires (cruchon, bouteille), carreaux, briques (dont la brique dite 'brique noire de fer' pour laquelle un brevet a été déposé en 1874) et produits anti-acides destinés à lindustrie chimique. L'usine connaît alors son apogée dans les années 1920. Maurice Piot, gendre d'Ernest Vairet décédé en 1927, reprend la direction de l'usine après le décès de Mme Vairet en 1937 qui gérait jusqu'à cette date l'entreprise et, jusqu'à la fermeture définitive des établissements en 1967.
