Giraud, cet artiste a peint un grand nombre de paysages (vues prises en Corse, en Algérie, et surtout dans les environs de Paris), des marines (côtes de la Manche et du littoral méditérranéen). Il a exposé aux Indépendants (1890-1893), puis à la Nationale (1899-1913). Un de ses paysages est conservé au musée du Louvre à Paris.
